Regina requested for a necklace for a fair skin lady, her boss wife. I decided to go classic, since I have not seen the lady and is unsure if she is able to take something heavy. The necklace is made of different sizes of cultured pear which had been dyed in Green, finishing with silver findings.

Playful Becky

I'm back after a long long while. Been busy with work, taken an amazing role and been spending time working on my job. I did some necklace and earring, but too lazy to load.... haha!

Both earrings done were an overdue order! Becky hope you like both of them

These pair of earring, is made of Green Onyx, with colorful roundel (all semi-precious stones) with gold plated earring findings, bring out the fun character of Becky, she wanted something that can brighten her pretty face!

Something simple, that is bright in color and chucky for Becky short bob style hair. Made of light blue chalcedony, contrast with carnelian roundel, in gold plated finding.

Have fun with the earring. Necklace is on the way….

8-$$ Handphone Charm for me!

Cannot resist the jade from Ah Po, and I bought myself the no. 8 and 3 gold $$ charm. Am using Tourmaline to break the greenish-yellow tone from the jade. According to Ah Po, the 3 $$ charm, is for $$ luck. I will tell you a year later if I am richer or if I won any lottery, (ha-ha - quit buying so how to win...)

I made this charm for myself not because of the $$ luck but more so for the beauty of the stones. These are real A-grade Jade which they made out of the small piece of left over jade. Ah Po kept this for me knowing that I will like them... she also passes me some leave which I will be making another hand phone charm... I will try to complete by this week, Stay tune!

Lucky Charm for Ox

It's been a long while since i last updated my blog. Had a new job and has been extremely busy... busy learning on my new job...plus the lazy part of me won the battle inside me, ha-ha! While I was gone, I did some stuff which I was too lazy to load. Those were some x'mas present (custom made) for some of my regulars.

Enough said. I decided to do something for fengshui believers. The coming year is a Tiger year. According to the flying star, the "5 yellow- meaning misfortunes star" reside at South West and the "Illness stars" reside at North east which is diagonally across each other. A good friend of mine told me that due to this arrangement in the flying star, we need a lot of blessing from god.

I have a special request for someone born in the year of Ox asking me to make a phone charm. She pass me some charm... and see what I have made for her... when she saw it she was so excited...

The content of the charm are mainly jade: the Buddha, the "hu-lu" and a "yan-pao". I added an onyx roundel stone to break the green. Why did I use Onyx, it is believed that Onyx can ward away evils (myth)...

Fun with Jade

Was out with my 2 Taiwanese buddies, J n J, drinking..... We had a lot of fun chatting and having fun sharing our experiences... I was inspired by both them and made this earring, reflecting their character, fun, girly, dressy and modern!

Both earrings are made of jade, moonstone and green onyx, in gold filled findings.

They are not like the usual earring, where both side are identical, I decided to make them different, combining the both J togetherJ. The earring breaks from the old traditional setting. Each side of the earring carries a craved jade with the word FU "福" fortune! I’m very sure that my younger sister will want this piece of earring, thus, please act fast. Beside, the cost is more than the selling price!!!

NO repeats! (Reluctantly using up my jade bought from the trip with K)

Colorful bling

Am pretty upset with how things are moving on my new job... It's a month since I am on the new job and still I have so much back-log... Am trying to better manage my stuff, but I am still not able to, very frustrated!!!!

I took a break from the pile of work and made this colorful earring to brighten up my moody mood! Think I’m stressed up! I have soft spot for earrings and rings... so my very 1st thot was to make earring, haha!

Citrine, peridot, garnet, amethyst, carnelian, labradorite, rose quarts roundel accompanying tear-drop Olive topaz. Glow under yellow light, perfect for evening function. All made in gold-fill findings.

Red red wine - Besty's order

Besty wanted something loud but not colorful with a budget of $40. What a challenge! I knew she love maroon shade and decide to work along the color. She plan to wear black jeans with a black top, no necklace but going along with a chunky ring.

Made this pretty earring in Swarovshi Crystal in the tone of red wine color which break from her black attire. Her expression when she sees the earring is so encouraging, her message confirm that i should continue to make more accessories for those who enjoy my work.

Time is the only gating factor for me to work on more pieces. Am into a new job which requires 16 hours daily! Cannot imagine right! I have a backlog of another earring and a necklace, which is long outstanding (months! haha! sorry dear), what's worst, another few orders for christmas! I may need to take leave to do! Hope to show another work in progress soon......

Taipei 101 - sold

I walked into Taipei 101 with a heavy heart. The feeling is very different; the last I came is with, someone I treasure but..... Disappointment...., K. We went to many places in the past, and I really enjoy every moment with K, its’ all history. Taipei 101 also reminded me this jade that i bought together with K, and I like it a lot but decided to let it go, just like how K let go of our friendship, I will definitely miss this piece of Jade just like missing K.

I made it simple just as it is a beauty by itself. The jade is craved with "FU" 福, meaning Fortune.
